It’s about a Prince who is pretty much self centered that gets a curse put on him, that curse turns him into a beast and the only way to break the curse is for him to love another and earn her love in return. The Beasts servants are turned into household items that can talk caused by the curse; he is also given a magic mirror that can see into the future and a rose that acts as his timer.

Ten years later there’s a bookworm girl named Belle and her father Maurice. One day her father gets into trouble and Belle goes to save him but stumbles into the Beast – that’s when their magical story begins.

(Belle)

This is my favourite Disney “princess” movies out of all of them. I just wish they sold adult Halloween costumes of Belle so I could wear it!

If you haven’t seen the movie please watch it, in fact watched all the old Disney movies!

Throw Back Thursday: Little Tikes Car

Remember the Flintstones and how they drove their “cars”? That’s what I use to call my Little Tikes car. Now i know these are still around with different colours and styles but my old style car is the best one.

My Little Tikes car had an orange body, yellow roof, black front bars, black wheels and tires and not to forget the fake white gas cap. You had to use your feet to move the car, it was the hardest thing when I was young. I was always a really short kid, reaching the ground wasn’t a common thing in my life which would make my feet get stuck under the car! The struggle was real back in the day.

The downside to this car was you could never go fast! You could only move as fast as your legs could move but even then, there wasn’t much leg room.

In my family, we will forever remember this car because it has a family story.

When I was about 4-5 I was sitting on the roof of the Little Tikes car, I was watching TV, I have no idea why my parents let me up there but it wasn’t a worry to them. In the house that I grew up in there was a long hallway that connected the bedrooms to the living room/kitchen/dining room. That day my sister was mad at me, so she came running down the hallway and pushed me off the car. I landed on my shoulder and broke my collarbone. I ended up having to wear a sling for a couple of weeks. My mum now has a Christmas ornament of the car!

All in all this little car was a pretty awesome toy and every kid loved it!
