Dynamite Perfume

Because my perfume that I normally buy at Victoria’s Secret you can only get online I wanted to try to find something in store. Unfortunely this perfume isn’t online anymore and I’m not too sure if it’s in stores anymore. I love this spray so I’m just going to write about it anyways; I have the Belle one, it’s a great light smell!

Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment

I got myself a Sephora Favourite box for dry skin because my skin sucks but who doesn’t? I tried this lip treatment not expecting it to work that well but I was shocked, it made my lips extremely soft! It is tinted so it makes your lips red because they send you the Rose one. You can get this at Sephora for $29.00.

Wet Brush

This brush is made to work with wet hair that’s super tangled, it’s made to brush the hair easy without breakage or pain. As a hairstylist I live by this brush dealing with bunch of different hair types everyday. I highly suggest you use this brush just because it’s great and it saves everyone’s hair. You can get this a multiple locations for roughly $10.00.

I got these boots at Spring Shoes because I wanted a nice Fall boot. I do live in Canada so there’s seasons here! These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever bought in my life, I didn’t have to break them in to get to the point of comfort, they just came comfy. I’ve now bought a sandal version of these so look out for them! These are at Spring for $79.99 but on sale now for $27.99 with limited sizes.

L.L Bean Slippers

Now, these aren’t the exact pair of slippers I got but they’re similar. Canada has some pretty cold winters and I get pretty cold really fast, my boyfriend calls me the ice princess since my toes are always ice. My Mum got an L.L. Bean flyer mailed to her and I fell in love with their slippers, I went online and ordered a pair right away. These are super warm, and comfortable! I got my pair for $79.00 at L.L.Bean.com

Cat’s Product of the Month (April)

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven’t been able to do my reviews lately, some things came up and life got really busy.

So today I wanted to talk about the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. This stuff is amazing, as you can possibly guess I am heavily addicted. Not only does the tinted moisturizer leave your skin feeling like you have barely anything on it but this product also contains SPF. You can use it instead of foundation and not have to worry if you are going to get the same amount of coverage.

There are various colours to choose from along with an oil free line for those that have oily skin. To be honest there’s not much I can say negatively about this product other than it is a little watery, but you have to remember its moisturizer therefore it’s not meant to be too thick.

Depending on size it ranges from $26-$56 at Sephora stores.

up & up Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes

I didn’t have a set makeup remover until Target came into Canada, I’ve always loved their up & up brand so I tried them out and fell in love. One side is your normal cloth, then the other side is like a paper towel with some sort of pattren to get a scrubbing action. It got most of my waterproof mascara off but that seems impossible with makeup now and days. Sadly Target is leaving Canada so I’m back to square one and have to find a new wipe. Never fear though, I have one or two in mine but I’ll leave that for next months when I’m try them out. You can get these at Target for $3.84.

After Inked Tattoo Cream

I know this one is pretty weird and probably no one is going to buy this unless they’re getting a tattoo or already have a tattoo but I wanted to share anyways. I got a tattoo almost a year ago now and I needed a cream to keep it all healthy and such. This is the cream I purchases from the shop but you can get it online aswell. This stuff smells amazing, it’s animal cruelty free and vegan, and not to mention dermatologist tested. If this came in huge lotion bottles I would use this all over my body. You can get it online at http://www.afterinked.com or Whole Foods, a 7ml is $5.00 or a 3oz is $20.00.

Aveda Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser

It’s finally getting warmer in Ontario, Canada so thought of beaches and pools are popping into everyone’s minds. I however am always in a pool and we all know chlorine kills your hair. This stuff is a lifesaver, or should I say hair saver? It removes chlorine and salt, plus product build-up, you don’t need a lot and it smells amazing! You can get it at Aveda stores, 250ml for $21.00, it’s expensive but it works.

O.P.I Big Apple Red Nail Polish

This is my favourite nail polish ever. O.P.I is a great brand that awesome colours, that last a long times. I mostly where this colour on my toes since my boyfriend thinks it sexy but I do wear this colour a lot! It’s just bright and fun! You can get this at most beauty stores for about $10.00 – $12.00. The store Trade Secrets is the best place to get O.P.I in my opinion.

Pledge Multi Surface Everyday Cleaner

This stuff is the best and only cleaning supply you will ever need/want. You can use this on granite, metal, wood, mirrors, glass and eletronics! My personal favourite is mirrors, way better then Windex. It smells great, cleans great, it’s just a great product all around. You can get this pretty much anywhere I think for roughly $6.00 – $8.00.

Instax Mini Photo Album

Yes! You read me right! Now the actual Fujifilm people have not created accessories for their cameras besides one crappy case, I got this off eBay for $10.00! It takes awhile to shop to your house but it’s totally worth the wait. It holds 64 photos plus one on the front, it hold any of the camera pictures besides the wide film, you need to type in wide photo into eBay but they do have them. I love mine and will probably order more once this one is closer to getting filled up. They also come in all different colours!

Throw Back Thursday: Skip It

Your entire life you work on skills to becoming an adult and some days being an adult just plain sucks. Bills, responsibilities, work, and all the stress, it can be a lot; it’s important to just take a moment, take a deep breath and remember to be a child again! Have fun with life!

Nothing is better than remembering that awesome thing we did, had, watched or listened to, that’s why I’m starting Throw Back Thursday! I’m going to write about something I did, had, watched or listened to from the 90’s!

Lets get started…

Skip It

Does anyone remember that awesome toy where you just skip over a ball that’s around your leg, again and again? I use to have one and, like every other girl in the 90’s, was obsessed with it!

It was a pretty pointless toy when you think about it now, but most toys are. Skip It had one of those old counters, that counted how many time it went around, girls would have mini competitions on who could get the highest number before someone tripped over it!

Tripping over it was the worst part of this toy, if you somehow missed it would fly right into your shin leaving a bruise, but of course after that happened we just kept skipping until it happened again.

Kids now and days would probably think Skip It is the most ridiculous thing since most play indoor with electronics. This was a pretty fun toy when I was a child and am curious to see if I could still use Skip It without killing me leg.
