Sephora Makeup Brushes
When I was in hair school I needed makeup brushes because we always put finishing touches on clients but they wanted us to use q-tips for everything to keep things clean/sanitary. My sister ended up getting me a set similar to things and now that I’m done hair school I just use them for myself and I love them. I don’t use that much makeup so this is something basic and works perfectly. You get this sets from almost anywhere but I got these at Sephora for roughly $60.00.
Quo Rose quartz facial roller
I got this at a gift from my best friend and fell in love with it. You roll it on your face to help make puffiness go down and it totally works. You use the large end on your cheeks, forehead and jawline and the smaller for under eye and chin area. You can get this at Shoppers Drug Mart for $25.00.
Hair Care Favourite:
Aveda Nourishing Styling Creme
This creme is a leave in styling creme that provides moisture and lock out frizz even on humid days. After showering, apply small amount into damp hair, and style as you want. You can get this at Aveda stores or Aveda Salons near you for $38.00.
Sun Bum Cool Down
Sum Bum is hands down the best SPF product I’ve seen out there and their after sun care is just as good. Its thick so you don’t need a lot and it spreads easily all while smelling so good. You can get Sun Bum at different places but I got this at Sports Chek for $14.00.
Zinus Bed Frame
We needed a new bed frame bad and I was getting so sick of Ikea bedframes always breaking on us so I went to Amazon/my parents who got this bed. It’s easy to put together, lightweight and its sturdy. You can get this on Amazon for $80 plus shipping.

Sorry I haven’t been able to do my reviews lately, some things came up and life got really busy.
So today I wanted to talk about the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. This stuff is amazing, as you can possibly guess I am heavily addicted. Not only does the tinted moisturizer leave your skin feeling like you have barely anything on it but this product also contains SPF. You can use it instead of foundation and not have to worry if you are going to get the same amount of coverage.
There are various colours to choose from along with an oil free line for those that have oily skin. To be honest there’s not much I can say negatively about this product other than it is a little watery, but you have to remember its moisturizer therefore it’s not meant to be too thick.
Depending on size it ranges from $26-$56 at Sephora stores.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve had sensitive skin. I break out easy if I didn’t wash my face, using harsh soaps or face washes would burn my skin, the sun was a sure guarantee to burn my face (but that’s mostly because of my Welsh/Irish background) and then I found out I’m allergic to perfumes/smelly products. The search for the perfect face product seemed to be impossible.
My face took a toll with trial and error but one day my Mum came home with a product called Cetaphil and I never went back.
The Cetaphil line is very simple, soaps and lotions and I find that’s all you really need. I’m not the type of girl who wears a ton of makeup, I’d rather show my natural beauty and my freckles. To me people who don’t “have” freckles or cover them up just look freaky to me, I don’t mean to be rude but that’s just my opinion on it.
Lets get started into the actual routine, at night time I usually take off any make up I had on with whatever make up remover I’m using these days. After I wash my face with Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar, you can use this bar for your face and entire body. Once I pat dry my face I use the Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 15. In my opinion all face lotions should have minimum SPF 15 in them, the sun is harsh and we need to protect ourselves.
Putting lotion on at night is important since it has more time to soak in and that’s when your body repairs itself, this includes putting lotion all over your body. Trust me, your skin will feel amazing.
In the morning, if I’m going to work I just splash some cold water on my face, since I work in a pool and will need to wash my face when I get home. If I’m going out though, I go through the same process as I do at night, wash and lotion.
Washing your face twice a day is max. for me, if you wash your face too much it’ll dry it out or worse make you completely break out; once in the morning and once at night.
There you have it. It not much but it works for my skin and my style of showing off your natural beauty. You are all beauty no matter what and no one should tell you otherwise.
