Lady Gaga Concert
What’s up guys?
In 2016 my best friend and I bought Lady Gaga tickets! It came up pretty fast and we were super excited for it. I had to work in the morning praying that I would get off on time to make the bus to get there on time and I did. Since Gaga’s tickets didn’t say she had an opening act we thought she was going to start right away, we were so wrong. We ended up waiting around for almost 2 hours for Gaga to come on stage, which we were annoyed about because we could have went for a proper dinner rather then eat ACC food.
However, it was a good time. I lost my voice singing to her songs and I drank lots! She played a good mix of old and new songs which was great!

Wet N Wild Toronto
Even though this summer had terrible weather I did get a chance to go to Wet N Wild Toronto water park. For those of you who don’t know Wet N Wild took over the old Wild Water Kingdom, they kept some of the old slides and cleaned them up but they’ve added more.
We started out small with the lazy river, then decided to go to the old slides which we thought would be slow but they were fast and fun. Then we decided to go on the new rides which were amazing!

We started with the one on the left, it was fast but so fun so we said we would try the one on the right, but we were nervous about it (chicken shits I know). By the time we got to this slide it was getting busy so the wait was a little longer but it was alright to warm up and chat. Once we got in tube we were like freaking out but it was actually so cool, you end up going pretty high on that coloured part but it was amazing.
They have other slides but they were crazy and we weren’t about that. The only downfall to this park is that I found is way smaller than Wild Water Kingdom was, you can tell they took some of the slides away and I hope they plan on building them as the years go by.

I would 100% say go to it and enjoy because I totally had fun and I’m an adult! Just remember safety first!

World’s Largest Rubber Duck
On July 1st to July 3rd Toronto had the Redpath Waterfront Festival! The highlight of the festival was a giant rubber duck; it’s 61 feet tall, 79 feet wide, 89 feet long and 30,000 pounds!
I was super excited because I love rubber ducks, I even have a tattoo of one on my arm. I waited a year to see it and once I saw it I couldn’t believe it.
I was going to Toronto for the Canada Day Jay’s game with my Uncle and Sister so we went fairly early. This was probably the best way to do it because we saw the duck before anyone was awake! After the game we went back to the duck to buy shirts and a mini version of it!

Aveda Institute Grad
The whole reason why I took a break from Maeg’s View in the first place is over!
I was attending Aveda Institute Toronto from July 2016 to April 2017. I’m happy to say that I’m an AIT graduate and I’m currently working at a salon in Woodbridge, Ontario as a Hair Stylist!
It was a long, stressful 10 months but I was able to do it while meeting some great people!

Bubble Soccer!
Hey everyone! So the last couple of years have been crazy busy and fun but now I’m officially back. I am going to try my best to keep up with it and that’s starts today with my trying to catch you guys up on everything I’ve done in 2017 so far!
Way back when in April (HOLY) my brother in law decided he wanted to do Bubble Soccer for his birthday!
My boyfriend and I actually showed up late but we made it in time to play. You have to crawl into these bubbles where there’s a hole at the top and bottom so you can breathe. Inside there’s straps that go over your shoulders so you don’t have the hold the bubble up and there’s handles in the front so you can hold on for dear life cause you’re gonna need it.
You play the game like dodgeball and soccer combined. It’s the funniest thing to watch because you just see little feet runny around in these giant bubbles. The people we went with would run into you, push you over and get pretty into it so it was fun!
The only downfall is that even though there is a hole at the top, it is so hard to breathe in them. We were all dripping in sweat after playing.
If anyone wants to play bubble soccer we went to

Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2015!
WARNING: This is an opinion blog post.
Toronto Ontario Canada turns into a sleepless night of art. People from all around come to see crazy art installation all around Toronto from sunset to sunrise for one night only.
I personally go every year for about six or seven years now and this year was alright in my opinion. I’m going to talk about the good and the bad of this years Scotiabank Nuit Blanche.
The good:
- One sleepless night every year to see art installations is amazing for the city.
- The art itself. It amazes me how people can come up with such crazy ideas and make them come alive.
- The TTC costume service – they ran out of the subway passes for Nuit Blanche but this year they had a back up plan or they’ve always had this just one guy decided to help us out.
- Starbucks – they were open all night! It was freezing especially around Lakeshore and having them around was really great.
- The map, it was great that they had a lot more maps this year so everyone could have one. And it was great that every installment had a pile of maps they could hand out this year.
- Food trucks were greatly placed this year and were easy to find.
The bad:
- No booklet of art information. I’ve been going to Nuit Blanche for years now and every year there has been a book of every art, a description and where it is. This comes in handy to figure out what you want to see, what you saw when posting pictures on social media to give some credit to the artist and it’s a great memory to keep.
- Art being spread out way to far apart. I found that this year you spent more time walking or sitting on the subway to get to the art then actually seeing the art.
- Closed down streets had minimal art on them, I mean if you’re going to close down a street you might as well put art in the middle of it like they use to do before.
- Putting art in bad neighborhoods.
- Putting art where there is no subway service.
- Art was hidden way too much. Going down the Lakeshore was hard, I had to ask a cop where the art was because it was nowhere to be found. If I didn’t ask I probably would have walked right by it.
- Great idea to put the event map on the mobile site and being able to use that. Only problem is you’re using your data the entire night and using the map off your phone is a pain.
Those are just some of my opinions of this years Nuit Blanche, don’t get me wrong I had a great time with my sister I just think there can be some improvements.
All those artists are amazing and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for next year.
Until next time,

Received High School Diploma
I started high school back in 2005, and throughout the rest of the school years I pretty much had a hard time or just didn’t put the effort in.
My friend told me about this school in Toronto, Independent Learning Centre, it is a school that allows you to finish the high school courses you still need while still being able to work. In December 2012 I registered for the remaining credit I needed and in October 2013 I finished the course and the exam.
From October to now I never bothered to send in my transcripts to get my diploma, until now. I decided to get my transcripts, send them in and got approved.
Last night I got an email saying I have officially graduated and my diploma will be at my house in 4-6 weeks! I am very happy about this and I think my parents are too. I will make a short post saying when it has arrived and maybe with a picture!

Wasaga Beach
Even though I go to Wasaga Beach every year I had to put it on my bucket list. I love the beach and can’t get enough of it! This year I didn’t even get a tan! 😦 I saw an inflatable paddle board that I was extremely jealous of and did a lot of swimming since it was HOT, HOT, HOT!
