Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Cruella
I got this lip pencil as a part of a set, I also have this in a different colour. I like them, I’ve heard some bad things about it saying it comes off in flakes but I’ve haven’t had that problem plus I believe anything matte is drying so you need to make sure your lips are nice and moisturized! This is a good product though, it stays on and colour lasts. You can get this at Sephora for $34.00.
Skin Care Favourite:
Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil
I got this when I got the Sephora Favourites for Dry Skin. I was skeptical of this product at first since I just thought it was going to make my skin extremely oily but it didn’t, then I was surprised at how many things you can use this product for. The list of things you can you it for, as Sephora recommends are:
-For face: warm two to four drops in your hands and lovingly press the oil into your skin day and night. Use on top of serums and creams
-For under-eye area: use to intensely hydrate and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
-For hair: use to treat split ends and minimize flyaways.
-For nails: use to condition cuticles.
-For body: use to firm skin soften rough patches.
I have used it on my face and it didn’t make it oily, probably because you’re only pressing it on your face and not rubbing a lot into it. This product lasts a very long time depending on how much you are using it and for where but I do recommend this. You can get this at Sephora for $60.00 for standard size, $20.00 for the mini.
Hair Care Favourite:
Aveda Pramasana Exfoliating Scalp Brush
This is the first part of a multi-step treatment for your scalp. Dry brushing the scalp is the first step to cleaning the scalp, it helps loosen build up and also increases circulation. The brush feels amazing, as you look in the picture they’re loops that dry brush the scalp this helps loosen the build up. You can get this treatment in an Aveda salon but you can also get this for home for $30.00.
Body Favourite:
Spring Miriradia – Dark Beige Smooth
I got these because I have a “fall verison” of these and I wanted a pair that I could wear in the summer. These are super comfortable shoes, it shocks me when I put heels on and they’re already comfortable to start with. They’re easy to walk in and stay on your foot, it’s a great summer sandal. Spring is a great store, I got these for $59.99.
Home Favourite:
Simons Shower Cap
I randomly saw this when I was at Simons shopping for clothes but fell in love with it since (a) it has cats on it, (b) it was $5 and (c) I needed a shower cap cause my hair was getting wet. Now I don’t wash my hair everyday, I just use to put my hair in a bun and hope I was good enough at not getting my hair wet. Some days I was and some days I failed. This works wonders but I have to say eventually it does scratch out eventually after using it for a bit but what do you want for $5! It works, it keeps my hair dry! You can get this at Simons for $5.00.
