In my eyes getting older means getting fat. You get to a point in your age that you can’t eat whatever you want and you can just sit around and look good. To me I’ve never been in absolute great shape but I had a level of fitness most other people didn’t, I played rep baseball. Rep was all year around 3 nights a week for me, day one was pitching practice which is nothing but pitching for a straight hour but before you even do that you had to run 30 laps of the gym. Day two was your team practice which normally involved running 30 laps of the gym, a workout circuit, sprints, and baseball drills. Day three was batting practice, this practice was normally the fun one but your arms and legs start to hurt around awhile plus you have to pick up every ball that you just hit.
Now that I’m at the age where I can’t really go anywhere with baseball and need to work more then play sports, my fitness level has gone down the drain. Not only did my body and fitness level go but my motivation left as well.
When you’re playing a sport you love you don’t realize that you are actually working out, now that I’m not training three nights a week then playing on the weekends I don’t have the motivation to get moving.
Everyone knows I have a boyfriend and we definitely don’t eat healthy in anyway, usually when you go out with friends or family you don’t eat healthy so it makes everything ten times harder. I’ve started working out this February but it hasn’t been going very well, I worked out for four days straight doing different things and different parts of my body but I ended up going out and not working out for 9 days. I’m back at it again but my motivation of today will most likely not be there tomorrow.
Once again I’m going to start trying to workout and maybe going to track how it goes on here but this is one of the hardest thing I find to do. I am 100% a lazy person!
So help me out, think of workouts, pictures to add or just some words of motivation.
