Eiffel Structube Chairs
Somewhere in one of my previous monthly favourites I wrote about the new dining room table I got; the one where I got a noise complaint from me attempting to put this thing together! Well, for Christmas I ask for chairs to go with it and I got them! This year for Christmas I’ve been adulting hard, I’ve never been so excited for towels, chairs and a toaster oven in my life. I guess we all get to an age where useless things aren’t cool anymore and organization and a nice dining set is sexy af. My boyfriend’s mum ordered them from Structube, on Christmas day they were sitting in a big box and two were out in the open (which was totally fine). With Structube you get quality items for a descent price however you do need to put them together. The chairs were really easy to put together with two people. I unpacked and unwrapped everything and my boyfriend screwed in the pieces (all he had to do was attach the legs to the seat part). We had a good system and got it done in 30 mins or so. The chairs are absolutely amazing, they’re comfortable, sleek and stylish and cost $39 each.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo
Do you have dry, itchy, irratated or even build up and oily scalp? Me too! Literally the whole world has had something wrong with their scalp at some point in their lives and it’s nothing to be embrassessed about. As a hairstlyist I’ve seen some bad scalps that needed some serious TLC, thankfully there’s hundred of products out there to suit your specific needs. I’ve heard great things about Briogeo and have wanted to try it for awhile; at Christmas I got a Briogeo hair box that had 3 or 4 products in it. As you see in the photo the shampoo in grey, that’s because of the charcoal and it feels gritty. I put it on my scalp and rubbed like I normally would when washing my hair. It feels amazing when washing, it does have a menthol feeling (but that is normal with most detox/cleansing shampoos) but it doesn’t hurt. It’s just refreshing. Once I got out of the shower and used my regular products, air dried then felt my scalp, it felt so good! I was seriously impressed with the product and want to work it into my hair routine. In the pack it was a small shampoo but Sephora has the regular size for $54.
Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
I always have the hardest time when it comes to finding a good makeup remover. No matter what I always find something wrong with the product, whether it be it doesn’t remove all the makeup, it’s not good with waterproof or that it stays and leaves a residue. I have found a couple and wrote about them but I’m adding in this one to the list. For Christmas my mum, sister and I got The Body Shop advent calendars because they’re cool af. This advant calendar was way better than getting chocolate (because lets face it the older we get the more our bodies can’t handle chocolate like the way it use too). The first day I used this remover I was impressed because I actually got it directly in my eye and it didn’t hurt. So it’s definately safe to say that it’s actually gentle. I had no problem removing the makeup, it smells good and calming, it’s suitable for sensitive skin (HELLO) and contact len wearers (I don’t wear contacts so I can’t say). I have used the bottle almost everyday (Tuesday to Saturday) since December and I still have the same bottle, it is definately worth the money and it’s not even that expensive. The Body Shop has it regularly priced $19.00. Not bad!
